What to Expect as a Member of Gallatin Community Gun Club
Welcome! We are glad you are here.
GCGC is a Montana-based nonprofit focused on education, safety, preparedness, and community connection. Membership is about more than classes, it’s about building trust and supporting one another.
How Membership Works
- Membership requires both an application and an in-person or video meeting
- This helps keep our community safe and aligned
- Once complete, members receive access to:
- Member-only classes and events
- Full access to community platforms (such as Discord)
- Subgroups like Sage & Steel or the Affinity Group
What We Offer
- Educational classes (firearms & non-firearms)
- Safety and preparedness training
- Community events and meetups
- Supportive spaces for learning at all experience levels
You don’t need to be an expert. Come as you are.
Safety & Expectations
Safety is a shared responsibility. Members are expected to:
- Follow all safety rules and instructor guidance
- Treat others with respect
- Participate responsibly and thoughtfully
- Ask questions when unsure
Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in removal from activities.
Community Values
We are committed to:
- Inclusion and mutual respect
- Responsible education and preparedness
- Building trust through accountability
- Supporting one another on and off the range
Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior are not tolerated.
Communication
We communicate through:
- Website announcements
- Community platforms (like Discord)
- Text messages
Participation in online spaces should reflect the same respect and care we expect in person.
Questions or Concerns?
We want this to be a positive experience. If something feels unclear or uncomfortable, reach out. We believe conversations build stronger communities.
