Gallatin Community Gun Club (GCGC) was founded in February 2025 in response to a growing need for accessible, meaningful community education and connection during challenging times. While many important services already existed in the Gallatin Valley, we identified a gap in inclusive, safety-centered spaces that thoughtfully address both the rights and responsibilities associated with the Second Amendment.
In January 2026, Gallatin Community Gun Club formally became a nonprofit organization, strengthening our commitment to public education, community care, and responsible practices.
GCGC serves community members of all experience levels, especially beginners and those who may feel underserved or excluded from traditional firearm spaces, by providing education that prioritizes safety, responsibility, and mutual care. Our programs are open to individuals seeking practical skills, confidence, and connection, regardless of background or prior experience.
We provide community-based education in firearm safety, self-defense, first aid, and preparedness. Through structured training, collaboration, and inclusive programming, we aim to strengthen public safety, foster community cohesion, and promote ethical, responsible practices. Our work is educational in nature and focused on skill-building and preparedness—not advocacy.
Through this approach, Gallatin Community Gun Club seeks to support the broader Gallatin Valley community while helping to reshape perceptions of gun culture into one rooted in safety, respect, accountability, and community care.
