Give Big is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together to support the causes that matter most. At Gallatin Community Gun Club, this year’s Give Big campaign is focused on expanding access to education that keeps our community safer, more prepared, and more connected. From first aid and preparedness classes to responsible firearm education and mental health initiatives, every program we offer is rooted in the belief that safety goes beyond skill, it includes awareness, confidence, and support.
This year, we’re especially proud to be growing our mental wellness programming. As certified Mental Health First Aid instructors, we’re working to equip community members with the tools to recognize and respond to mental health challenges. Our workshop, “What About the Guns?: Firearms Safety Planning for Mental Health Professionals,” creates space for important, often overlooked conversations, bridging the gap between mental health and safe firearm practices in a way that is practical, respectful, and grounded in education.
Your support during Give Big helps us continue offering accessible, community-driven programming, replace and expand class supplies, support our volunteer instructors, and build new opportunities for connection. Whether it’s helping someone learn life-saving bleeding control skills, feel more confident handling a firearm safely, or have a meaningful conversation about mental health, your donation makes a direct impact right here in Gallatin County.
Together, we’re building a stronger, safer, and more supported community.
